According to Georgian media, a new state structure will appear in the government of the republic - the State Agency for the Promotion of Employment. The goal of the institution will be to combat unemployment in Georgia.
Thus, the authority of the Social Service Agency will pass to the State Agency. The government explained this move as an intention to step up government efforts to provide citizens with jobs.
Recall that in the first quarter of this year, unemployment in Georgia amounted to 12.8%.
